This questionable image is actually a pretty new silver tooth that resides in CT's mouth. Look again. See it? Yup, he got a crown today. And it was totally no big deal to him. It was a way bigger deal to us because we had to pay the bill (read: no dental insurance) but it was totally worth the money to go to the best pediatric dentist in town because he said it was *fun* and he got a goody bag! And (if this doesn't spell trouble, what does?...) he loves "the Gas" and wants to "get some more each day!" Yikes. His new favorite toy is the little thingie the nitrous came out of (is there a name for that? Mask, maybe?) Do we still need to get him a birthday present? Happy birthday baby CT!

Hey Josephine Milkweed! I am so impressed by whatever magic the best pediatric dentist in town has. In order to take my children to the dentist, I will be the one who needs the nitrous oxide. Maybe we could take a trip back to IL for a cleaning. Think our insurance will cover travel expenses?

Eek! I am glad that CT had fun. Who has fun getting a crown? Why did he have to get a crown...was there a chip in his tooth...decay? Madison has 2 cavities and they were not fun, but she did like her little nose mask that she got since it smelled like strawberry. We have to go to the dentist in Feb. for her and I hope that she has no cavities. I am actually getting a crown this week on Friday and NOT looking forward to it.
